Co-organized by Manetic and Tertiary Education Services Office, “InnoICT Business Plan Competition 2012” workshop was held at conference room of Galaxy Macau, at 3pm on 10th July 2012. Several speakers were invited to give a sharing, including
• Director of IS&T of Galaxy Entertainment Group, Mr. Ian Farnsworth,
• Associate Professor of Marketing of Faculty of Business Administration from University of Macau, Mr. Matthew Liu
• Technical Director of Central Technology, Mr. Franky Ip
• Country Manager of Extreme Networks, Mr. Wilson Ching
During the workshop, speakers shared their business experience with the students who have registered for the competition and hoped to let them have good preparation for it.

InnoICT Business Competition 2012
Debuted in 2011, the InnoICT Business Competition is an annual event organized by Macau New Technologies Incubator Centre (Manetic) and Tertiary Education Services Office to promote ICT innovation development in Macau. Winners will be given the opportunity to convert their business plans to reality through Manetic incubation services.
The InnoICT Business Competition 2012 came to a successful conclusion and the award ceremony was held at Manetic on 29 August 2012. The registration was opened during the end of April and the early of July. Then from July to August, the year’s competition wended its way through workshops, submission of business proposals to round off in the grand finale. There were 33 teams from Macau local universities and 13 teams from the universities outside Macau. Altogether 107 students were involved (100 Macau residents, 7 Mainlanders).
